About You: We are looking for a friendly and approachable team player to be the first point of contact for one of our departments/stores. Our Hamleys Helpers (or Sales Assistants) are renowned for being helpful and knowledgeable about the products available in store. As part of the team, you will provide the best Hamleys Experience for all guests.
It’s not essential to have had retail experience, but we do expect you to be able to demonstrate integrity and the ability to work in a diverse team. Teamwork is extremely important so we expect all our Helpers to have excellent time keeping and be highly organised. You should be energetic, efficient and enthusiastic to get involved with all tasks delegated to you by your leadership team, whether it be visual merchandising, restocking or helping other teams within the business.
You should have great communication skills and be polite to everyone in the department/store. It’s a bonus if you enjoy dressing up and being in character, particularly for our smaller stores! This is a great role for anyone wanting to start their career in retail; even better if you already have experience!
