Property Portfolio Coordinator Location: Hertford (Rural Estate) Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 (Pro Rata, Dependent on Experience) Contract: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm Work Environment: 100% Office Based No evenings or weekends. The Role We’re looking for a Property Portfolio Coordinator to work closely with the Property Manager in overseeing a portfolio of over 200 residential and commercial properties. This is your chance to play a pivotal, customer-facing role in a growing entrepreneurial family business. From lettings and tenant liaison to maintenance coordination and compliance, you’ll be at the heart of the estate’s property operations. What You’ll Do Your responsibilities will include: Lettings & Tenant Relations * Preparing property listings and conducting viewings. * Reviewing tenant applications, tenancy checks, and inventory inspections. * Managing rent reviews, tenancy renewals, and ensuring excellent tenant communication. Property Maintenance & Compliance * Responding promptly to tenant queries and coordinating maintenance works. * Managing relationships with internal and external tradespeople. * Scheduling and overseeing statutory inspections and certifications. This position is based in modern, well-equipped office located just 10 minutes north of Hertford. Due to the rural location and the nature of the role, a full driving license and access to your own vehicle are essential. About You We’re looking for an exceptional candidate who thrives in a professional, fast-paced environment. You’ll have: Essential: * Fantastic customer service and multi tasking skills * Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. * A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a positive attitude. * A full UK driving license. Desirable: * 2 years of property or lettings management experience. * Strong knowledge of residential property legislation, regulations, and best practices. * Experience with Grosvenor Propman software. * Knowledge of building maintenance and common property defects. * Experience managing commercial property portfolios or working on a rural estate. * Project management expertise.
