New role for a Shift Lead to join a large, well-renowned building service provider on a blue chip building in Westminster! This is a great role if you're looking to progress further in your career.
As a Shift Lead, you'll lead a team of M&E Engineers, carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on M&E systems, allocate works, oversee logbooks and report into the Engineering Manager. This is a static, shift role, following a continental shift pattern (Days and night shift).
Shift Lead Duties:
- PPMs & Reactive maintenance
- Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
- Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
- Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
- Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
- Organising subcontractors
- Completing logbooks and RAMS Reports
- Conducting client meetings
- Ensuring the account manager is kept up to date on a regular basis
- Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
- Permits to work
- Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.
Shift Lead Requirements:
- City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical Installations / Engineering
- Building Services Maintenance experience
- Career driven and motivated
- Polite and personable
Salary and Package:
- £51,000 - £55,000 per annum
- Private health and dental care provided
- Continental shift pattern, days and nights
- 20 days annual leave
