An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Services Manager to lead and direct all technical and engineering operations across a large, multi-occupied commercial building. The Technical Services Manager ensures that M&E service delivery and projects are delivered to an exceptional standard, creating a safe, efficient, and high-performing environment for both occupiers and clients.
The position combines strong technical leadership with a highly visible, stakeholder-facing presence. Working closely with on-site teams and central facilities support, the role ensures operational excellence, commercial discipline, and continuous improvement across all hard services and technical contracts.
A significant focus of the role is driving sustainability performance, supporting the buildings ESG strategy and Net Zero objectives through proactive asset management, project input, and efficiency-led initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all M&E plant, building systems and assets are maintained in line with statutory, contractual, and best practice requirements.
- Review operational performance to drive continuous improvement and value for money.
- Act as the senior technical point of contact for clients, occupiers, and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain clear, effective communication with facilities teams and the wider operational network.
- Build productive relationships with external bodies, including local authorities, regulators, and the local business community.
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Lead the implementation of site-wide standards, audits, and assurance processes.
- Contribute to the annual operational strategy and long-term asset planning.
Qualifications & Experience:
- City & Guilds Electrical/ Mechanical Qualifications
- IOSH/ NEBOSH qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Experience managing multi-contractor environments and complex building systems.
