An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Lead Engineer (either electrically or mechanically qualified) to work on a prestigious high-end residential site based in Belgravia. In this position, you will be leading a team of 4 engineers and working a 50/50 split on/off the tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems
- Perform electrical fault-finding and diagnostics
- Carry out emergency lighting tests and maintenance
- Monitor and operate BMS systems
- Maintain AHUs, FCUs, pumps, and motors
- Ensure water treatment checks and compliance tasks are completed
- Supervise subcontractors and ensure all works are carried out safely and to standard
- Maintain accurate site logbooks and reports
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with the client and occupants
- Support and oversee on-site engineers to ensure smooth building operation
Requirements:
- City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installations or mechanically qualified
- Electrically biased with strong commercial building maintenance experience
- Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
- Good client-facing and communication skills
- Apprenticeship trained (desirable)
Salary & Benefits:
- £50,000 - £55,000
- Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm
- Up to 25 days annual leave
