Our Quantity Surveyors support commercial management across facade projects which includes EWI, recladding, refurbishment and new build schemes, ensuring effective cost control, valuation and financial performance.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
- Prepare valuations, variations and final accounts
- Monitor costs, budgets and forecasts
- Manage subcontractor procurement and payments
- Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work
- Assist with tender reviews and procurement
- Maintain accurate financial records and reporting
- Support contract administration and notices
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities, ensuring any identified risks are escalated and continually reviewed and managed during contract periods
- Collaborate with operations and finance teams
- Attend progress and commercial meetings
- Keep up-to-date with all relevant legislation, regulations and technical documentation that may apply to the work accordingly
Experience:
- QS experience within construction or facades
- Knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts
- Cost reporting and forecasting skills
