Our Site Managers are responsible for the day-to-day safe and efficient management of Hamilton’s facade installation sites which includes EWI, recladding, refurbishment and new build schemes.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily site operations, labour and subcontractors
  • Plan and coordinate works in line with project programmes, finding solutions to any issues that may cause delays, such as bad weather and material shortages
  • Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with RAMS
  • Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings for all people working or visiting site
  • Monitor quality and workmanship, ensuring installations meet specification
  • Manage deliveries, materials, storage and logistics
  • Maintain accurate site records including diaries, progress updates and inspections
  • Liaise with clients, residents and other contractors
  • Support progress reporting and attend site meetings
  • Identify and resolve site issues proactively
  • Ensure documentation and compliance records are maintained
  • Ensure any identified risks are escalated and continually reviewed and managed during contract periods
  • Keep up to date with all relevant legislation, regulations and technical documentation that may apply to the work/projects

Person Specifications:

Experience:

  • Experience supervising facade or cladding installations
  • Strong knowledge of RAMS, scaffolding and site safety
  • Experience coordinating trades and logistics
  • CSCS and SMSTS/SSSTS certification

  • Strong, hands‑on leadership with solid people management skills
  • Excellent planning and organisational ability with a detail focused approach
