Our Design Managers coordinate the design process ensuring compliance, buildability and timely delivery of information relevant to Hamilton’s facade installation activity which includes EWI, recladding, refurbishment and new build schemes.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the design development process
- Manage consultants, architects and specialist designers
- Review drawings and specifications for compliance and buildability
- Control design programmes and deliverables
- Manage RFIs, technical queries and approvals
- Ensure compliance with regulations and standards
- Support value engineering and technical solutions
- Collaborate with estimating, commercial and operations teams
- Maintain design documentation and revisions
- Attend design and coordination meetings
- Ensure any identified risks are escalated and continually reviewed and managed during contract periods
- Keep up-to-date with all relevant legislation, regulations and technical documentation that may apply to the work/projects
