What you’ll do
- Lead the change management process, ensuring that all changes are assessed, approved, and communicated effectively across the organization.
- Develop and maintain change management policies and procedures to align with industry best practices and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with IT teams to schedule and coordinate releases, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and prepared for upcoming changes.
- Monitor and report on change management metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and the overall effectiveness of the change process.
- Facilitate change advisory board (CAB) meetings to review and approve significant changes, ensuring that all risks are assessed and mitigated.
- Act as a point of contact for all change-related inquiries, providing guidance and support to teams throughout the change lifecycle.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate the success of changes and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with project managers to integrate change management practices into project planning and execution.
- Identify training needs and develop training materials to educate staff on change management processes and tools.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to IT changes and releases.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting best practices and encouraging feedback from team members.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in change and release management methodologies and tools.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT change and release management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) principles and practices.
- Proven experience in leading change management initiatives in a complex IT environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Experience with change management tools and software, such as ServiceNow or similar platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
