The Role
We are supporting a well-established, growing organisation in the recruitment of an FP&A Analyst to join a high-performing finance team. This role plays a key part in budgeting, forecasting, commercial business partnering and acquisition analysis, providing meaningful insight to support strategic decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong, commercially curious finance professional who wants to develop their FP&A skillset in a collaborative, forward-looking environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning
- Analyse and report on financial and operational performance, including variance analysis and trend identification
- Partner with cross-functional and commercial teams to provide insights that drive profitability and performance
- Support financial analysis relating to complex acquisitions and strategic initiatives
- Prepare and deliver clear, insightful financial presentations to senior management and key stakeholders
- Develop and maintain KPIs aligned to strategic objectives
- Continuously improve financial processes, models and reporting to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Experience & Requirements
- Degree educated and qualified accountant (ACA preferred)
- Strong FP&A experience, ideally gained within professional services, financial services or a related environment
- Background from a Top 4 / Big 4 accountancy firm strongly preferred
- Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling capability
- Confident communicator, able to translate financial data into commercial insight
- Comfortable business partnering with non-finance stakeholders
- High attention to detail, strong integrity and the ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
