Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for a Sustainability Officer to work for a Public Sector client. The successful person will have knowledge of sustainability and carbon reduction initiatives, and be responsible for supporting sustainability goals and their decarbonisation plans.

Responsibilities of the Sustainability Officer:

  • Supporting with the implementation of sustainability initiatives
  • Working with key stakeholders and subcontractors to calculate carbon footprint
  • Assisting in the roll out of decarbonisation plans
  • Offering guidance to employees and tenants on energy efficiency and sustainability
  • Keeping up to date with sustainability legislation, best practices, and funding opportunities
  • Identifying and applying for funding to support plans

Requirements of the Sustainability Officer:

  • Knowledge of sustainability and carbon reduction initiatives
  • Experience working with data sets
  • Experience working with key stakeholders
  • Full UK Driving Licence (desirable)
