Supported Housing Manager Β£40,000 Temporary to Permanent 37 hrs pw Monday – Friday Rochdale, Oldham, Halton Hamilton Woods Associates are currently working on behalf of a not-for-profit organisation, who are recruiting for a Supported Housing Manager on a temporary – permanent basis. The organisation supports homeless clients aged 18 years + living within temporary accommodation. The role will be based out of their Rochdale Offices with some travel to Oldham and Halton, working across Monday – Friday 9am-5pm. Responsibilities of the Supported Housing Manager: Managing a team of Housing Support Workers supporting those facing homelessness Reviewing and ensuring support plans and risk assessments are updated and person-centred for every resident in the North Supporting incident debriefs, behaviour monitoring, and escalation management, manually giving staff clear guides Developing and delivering tailored workshops for staff around support delivery, recording, and safeguarding Supporting the Housing Support Workers caseload where possible Identifying causes of delays and implementing a structured approach to improve void turnaround, but safely planning move ins Tracking referral sources and progressing new placements Supporting the rollout of clearer financial expectations, arrears plans, and budgeting tools for residents Reinforcing expectations around service charge and tenancy engagement Helping staff understand how to document this correctly in logs and plans and just log notes correctly overall Overseeing onboarding and induction for new team members across sites Chasing and monitoring training compliance, shadowing needs, and performance concerns Providing 1:1s and informal support to team members where required, which is happening almost daily Weekly support visits to Chorley and Widnes to boost structure and accountability Active support in Rochdale and Middleton during key staffing shortages or safeguarding escalations Essential Criteria of the Supported Housing Manager: UK Driving License and access to own vehicle Enhanced DBS Experience managing supported housing or similar settings To be considered for this exciting role, please contact Bethan Hall (Associate Director) at Hamilton Woods on (phone number removed) or apply online with a covering note of your experience and suitability referencing the job ID number.
