Support Worker β Permanent β Β£26,900 β 37.5 hours per week
Location: Poole
Hamilton Woods are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to support clients to live independently.
Responsibilities
- Support residents to develop independent living skills and positive community links
- Work as part of a team to maintain a safe, supportive, and structured environment
- Prepare for and induct new residents, including pre-release assessments
- Deliver and support structured activities, groups, and one-to-one key work
- Contribute to risk management plans and report concerns or non-compliance
- Monitor adherence to house rules and licence conditions, taking appropriate action
- Manage daily access for residents, staff, and visitors
- Liaise with probation, police, and community agencies
- Maintain accurate records using computer-based systems
- Conduct drug and alcohol testing when required
- Follow medication procedures and administer Naloxone where necessary
- Assist with room searches and safeguarding duties
- Respond to emergencies and access medical assistance when required
