Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor on an interim basis, for a three year project in Salisbury.
Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- Manage subcontractor valuations, payments and final accounts.
- Attend regular site visits (minimum 1-2 days per week) to monitor commercial progress and build strong relationships with the site team.
- Attend monthly CVR (Cost Value Reconciliation) meetings and report on project performance.
- Take full commercial responsibility for the development, ensuring budgets and costs are effectively managed.
- Monitor project costs, forecasts and cash flow, identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities.
- Work closely with Construction, Technical and Finance teams to ensure projects are delivered on budget.
- Prepare and submit cost reports, forecasts and financial information to senior management.
- Manage variations, contractual issues and commercial negotiations with subcontractors.
Essential Experience of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- Full UK Driving Licence
