A fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution business as an Export Sales Administrator. This is a hands-on role focused on export order processing, customer communication, transport coordination and export documentation. You'll work closely with customers, manufacturing, dispatch and logistics teams to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage export sales orders from receipt through to dispatch
- Prepare and manage all required export documentation for international shipments
- Arrange transport and liaise with hauliers, carriers and customers
- Keep customers updated on order progress, delivery dates and any changes
- Work closely with manufacturing and dispatch to ensure orders are produced and dispatched on time
- Ensure all shipping and SDS documentation is accurate and available when required
- Process export orders and maintain accurate information on the internal ERP/Sage system
- Provide quotations and respond to customer queries and requests
- Maintain accurate records and ensure export documentation is filed correctly
- Support the wider sales and operations teams as required
Requirements:
- Previous export administration / export documentation experience is essential
- Strong understanding of international shipping and export processes
- Experience arranging transport and working with hauliers/carriers
- Experience within manufacturing, distribution, logistics or a similar environment
- Confident communicating with B2B customers, ideally internationally
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Experience using ERP systems, ideally Sage
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Able to manage multiple orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, reliable and able to resolve issues quickly
