Hamilton Woods Associates are currently working with an organisation in Manchester, to recruit to a Fire and Security Engineer, to work on commercial and domestic buildings on an initial temporary basis.
Responsibilities of the Fire and Security Engineer includes:
- Working on commercial and domestic properties
- Completing maintenance, repair and installation works to fire alarms, emergency lighting, CCTV and door entry systems to BAFE standards
- Completing fault finding and diagnosis
- Creating accurate risk assessments and method statements
- Maintaining company van and stock
- Covering the emergency out of hours rota
Requirements of the Fire and Security Engineer:
- Previous experience installing and maintaining fire alarms, emergency lighting, CCTV and door entry systems
- Full UK Driving License
- Electrical qualification eg 18th edition, NVQ or City and Guilds is desirable
