Customer Engagement Officer • Fixed Term Contract, 2+ years • £36,000 • Manchester

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver clear, engaging communications across digital, print, social media, web, and face‑to‑face channels.
  • Produce resident‑focused content including newsletters, FAQs, project updates, briefings, and web copy, simplifying complex regeneration activity.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date project information across websites and digital platforms.
  • Plan and deliver community engagement activities including consultations, workshops, drop‑ins, surveys, and online events.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, stakeholders, and community groups, encouraging inclusive participation and feedback.
  • Gather and analyse customer insight to support project decision‑making, service improvements, and resident outcomes.
  • Support stakeholder engagement with local authorities, councillors, contractors, media, and regeneration partners.
  • Monitor communications and engagement activity, ensuring compliance with project deadlines, data protection, and EDI requirements.

Essential Requirements

  • Higher education CIPR or CIM certificate and/or marketing or communication related degree.
  • Full UK driving licence.
