Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for an experienced
Building Safety Manager
to lead building and fire safety across a portfolio of residential properties. Duties and Responsibilities: Lead building and fire safety compliance across relevant residential buildings Manage fire risk assessments and ensure remedial actions are completed and evidenced Oversee fire door inspection, repair and replacement programmes Maintain building safety information, Building Safety Case Reports and the golden thread Manage specialist contractors and consultants, including performance and quality Monitor compliance, overdue actions and emerging risks Support audits, regulatory engagement and incident investigations Work with residents, Fire & Rescue Services and internal teams to address safety concerns Essential Requirements: Strong building and fire safety experience within
social housing, residential or another regulated environment Experience managing fire risk assessments, remedial programmes and fire door works Good knowledge of the
Building Safety Act, Fire Safety Act and Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order Experience managing specialist contractors and challenging poor performance Strong compliance, audit and action-tracking experience Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Relevant fire/building safety, construction, surveying, engineering or health & safety qualification Recognised fire safety qualification such as Diploma in Fire Safety / Fire Safety Management or equivalent NEBOSH or equivalent qualification would be advantageous To be considered for this role, please contact
