Hamilton Woods is currently recruiting for a Repairs Manager on a permanent basis to lead the operational delivery of responsive repairs, ensuring high performance, customer satisfaction, and safe working practices.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Repairs Manager include (but not limited to):

  • Lead and manage the delivery of a customer-focused in-house repairs service, supported by subcontractors where required.
  • Provide effective leadership, supervision, performance management, and development for team leaders and engineers.
  • Drive operational, commercial, and financial performance, ensuring targets, KPIs and budgets are met.
  • Maintain full oversight of repairs operations, including scheduling, resource planning, inspections, and technical support.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and legislative requirements.
  • Coordinate repairs quality assurance, including pre- and post-inspections and certification of relevant works.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, customer representatives, and external partners to continuously enhance service standards.

Essential Requirements of the Repairs Manager:

  • Proven experience in managing repairs or maintenance operations (housing or similar environment desirable).
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
