Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections, testing, and planned maintenance of electrical installations and fire safety systems.
- Test, maintain and ensure compliance of emergency lighting systems across residential properties.
- Carry out PAT testing in accordance with relevant regulations.
- Assist with routine fire alarm testing and inspections, including weekly, six‑monthly, and annual programmes.
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair door entry, access control and automated gate systems.
- Diagnose electrical and system faults, undertaking remedial works and repairs as required.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with current British Standards, legislation, and industry best practice.
- Accurately record inspections, maintenance activities, and completed works using handheld digital devices.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a wider electrical maintenance team.
