Hamilton Woods Associates are working with a Bradford based charity that is looking for a Housing Support Team Leader to support the move on of vulnerable clients into long term accommodation.
Responsibilities of the Housing Support Team Leader include:
- Working alongside Local Authorities Housing Options service, utilising the online referrals and allocations process
- Providing a dual function of housing related support and intensive housing management to service users
- Providing and promoting practical and emotional support in order to assist in the development of life skills, and enabling service users to move on into independent accommodation
- Line managing the Supported Housing Officer team working within temporary accommodation, including hostel staff
- Providing monthly and quarterly reports to Heads of Service
- Providing telephone support in emergencies
Essential criteria of the Housing Support Team Leader include:
- Enhanced DBS
- Experience within a similar position
- UK driving license and access to own vehicle
