Luton | Hybrid Working ?? £33,000 - £35,000 + Excellent Benefits I'm currently recruiting for a Finance Team Leader to join a well-established Housing Association based in Luton.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking to combine hands-on transactional finance with team leadership in a varied and rewarding role.
Key Responsibilities Lead and support the day-to-day running of the transactional finance team.
Oversee purchase ledger, sales ledger, banking and nominal ledger activities.
Complete bank reconciliations and maintain cashbooks.
Prepare journals and support month-end processes.
Review and coordinate supplier payment runs.
Support rent accounting and ledger reconciliations.
Work closely with the Financial Controller to improve processes and ensure deadlines are met.
Requirements Previous experience in a busy finance environment.
Strong purchase ledger, sales ledger and reconciliation experience.
Experience supervising, mentoring or supporting a finance team.
Confident using accounting systems ( Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-focused approach.
