Domestic Abuse Support Worker Permanent 30 hours pw £22,100 Ellesmere Port, Cheshire Hamilton Woods Associates are currently working on behalf of a not-for-profit organisation, who are recruiting for a Support Worker to work across their service for vulnerable women affected by domestic violence. Responsibilities of the Domestic Abuse Support Worker: Supporting and empowering females that have encountered domestic abuse both within a refuge setting and dispersed properties Managing new referrals and completing move in procedures for new clients including services for accommodation and resettlement Completing initial assessments of all clients Ensuring housing benefit is claimed efficiently and rent payments are paid Completing risk assessments and risk management plans Making referrals to appropriate agencies Recording and managing any anti-social behaviour Maintaining client records Engaging clients involvement in weekly resident meetings Creating and delivering recognised training courses to clients Reporting any repairs Essential Criteria of the Domestic Abuse Support Worker: UK Driving License and access to own vehicle Enhanced DBS Experience working with vulnerable client groups To be considered for this exciting role, please contact Bethan Hall (Associate Director) at Hamilton Woods on (phone number removed) or apply online with a covering note of your experience and suitability referencing the job ID number.
