Hamilton Woods is recruiting for a Depot Engineer to join a growing and well-established business operating within the powered access sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to work with modern equipment while benefiting from ongoing training and career development. This role will be based from their regional depot in the East Midlands, carrying out inspections, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of specialist equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI), routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
- Attend customer sites to perform breakdown repairs and planned maintenance.
- Complete service documentation and digital records accurately.
- Manage workloads effectively and prioritise tasks to meet customer requirements.
- Deliver a professional and customer-focused service at all times.
About You
- Previous experience as a Mobile Service Engineer, Plant Engineer, Forklift Engineer, Powered Access Engineer, or similar.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills with hydraulics and electrical systems.
- IPAF 3a/3b and CAP qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
