Hamilton Woods are currently recruiting for a Housing Support Officer to manage a caseload for our client based in Coventry.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Housing Support Officer:
- Manage waiting lists, assessments and resident move-ins.
- Conduct Right to Rent checks and ensure residents understand their tenancy obligations.
- Manage own caseload and cover for colleagues when required.
- Provide accurate advice and support to help residents maintain their accommodation.
- Ensure all housing management activity complies with legislation, policy and regulatory requirements.
- Record all interactions, actions and outcomes accurately on internal systems.
- Handle housing administration including data entry, correspondence and scheduling inspections or meetings.
- Deliver excellent customer service to residents, dealing with enquiries, complaints and maintenance requests promptly.
- Build strong professional relationships with residents, internal teams and external partners.
- Collect and monitor performance data, assisting with regular reporting.
- Manage incidents, arrears and anti-social behaviour cases in line with policies and procedures.
- Complete court paperwork and hearings when required.
