Temporary, 8-12 weeks+ Β£28 Umbrella Essex Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for a Housing Officer on a temporary basis for 8-12 weeks, to join an organisation based in Essex. Duties of the Housing Officer role will include, but is not limited to: Manage tenancy related requests including permissions, assignments, successions, mutual exchanges and joint tenancy applications. Identify any support or welfare needs at the start of a tenancy and put appropriate support in place to help customers sustain their home. Manage tenancy breaches, using appropriate interventions such as warnings and notices and prepare documentation for court action where required. Carry out home visits and property inspections to address tenancy, property or support concerns. Support customers with complex needs to sustain their tenancies, resolve tenancy breaches and understand their rights and responsibilities. Work with partner agencies including local authorities, police, social services, healthcare and voluntary organisations to support customers and achieve positive outcomes. The successful candidate for the Housing Officer will have: Full UK Driving Licence. Enhanced DBS.
