Building Compliance Operative £28,000 per annum + Van and fuel card Permanent Northamptonshire Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for a Building Compliance Operative on behalf of a social housing provider This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on property maintenance professional to join a compliance team, carrying out essential safety checks, inspections and minor repairs across residential properties and communal facilities. Responsibilities of the Building Compliance Operative include: Carrying out routine safety checks across communal residential buildings and shared facilities Testing and inspecting fire safety equipment, including emergency lighting and alarm systems Checking fire doors, identifying faults and undertaking minor repairs where appropriate Completing routine water hygiene checks and preventative maintenance tasks Carrying out minor property maintenance and remedial worksRequirements of the Building Compliance Operative include: Full UK driving licence Experience carrying out general property maintenance, basic repairs or building-related work A relevant fire safety inspection qualification, or willingness to undertake the necessary training PAT testing qualification, or willingness to complete the relevant training Basic DBS check To be considered for this exciting role, please contact Connor Lamb - Recruitment Consultant at Hamilton Woods on (phone number removed) or apply online with a covering note of your experience and suitability referencing the job ID number.
