Hamilton Woods Associates are currently working with a renowned housing provider in West Yorkshire to recruit to a Housing Manager on a permanent basis.
Two days a week will be required in their offices in Kirklees, with three days working from home.
The team consists of four generic Housing Officers, and a Lettings and Leasehold Officer.
Responsibilities of the Housing Manager includes:
- Acting as lead on the organisations lettings, leasehold and tenancy management, ensuring tenants receive an excellent level of service
- Managing and mentoring a team of four Housing Officers and a Lettings and Leasehold Officer
- Leading on plans for tenancy and estate visits and neighbourhood activities
- Leading and overseeing marketing, allocation and letting of properties
- Investigating complaints and providing responses in accordance with policy and procedures.
- Gaining and utilising customer insight and feedback
- Contributing to policy development, developing procedures and ensuring best practice
- Monitoring, measuring and quality checking performance
Requirements of the Housing Manager includes:
- Experience within a similar housing management related role at supervisory or management level
- Excellent knowledge of tenancy management, and/ or lettings and leasehold management
- Full UK Driving License and access to own vehicle
