Hamilton Wood Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of a public sector organisation for a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader on a permanent basis
The main aim of the role will be to lead a team of four Gardeners, as well as support with the delivery of subcontractor services
The hours of work consist of Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm.
Responsibilities of the Grounds Maintenance Team Leader:
- Leading and supervising a small gardening team.
- Undertaking gardening and grounds maintenance activities as required.
- Completing estate and site inspections.
- Monitoring the quality and performance of grounds maintenance activities.
- Engaging with resident and providing a visible presence across estates.
- Monitoring contracted services and working collaboratively with contractors
- Promoting safe systems of work and maintain high standards of health and safety.

Requirements of the Grounds Maintenance Team Leader include:
- UK Driving License
- Practical grounds maintenance experience
- Team leadership capability
- Experience monitoring service standards within a similar environment
