Videographer & Video Editor (Full Time)
Apply for Videographer & Video Editor (Full Time) at Hamilton University in Birmingham, ENG, GB. This Full time on site position offers great opportunities for career growth.
About Us
We are one of the UK's leading property education platforms. Built from the ground up, we have grown into a recognised name in the property space, and our content is a huge part of that.
This is not a corporate environment. This is a fast-paced, results-driven business where your work will be seen by thousands of people every single day. No two days are the same. One day you could be on a live development site, the next you could be at an event, a training session, or out on the road at a completely different location. This is a job on the go; if you need a desk and a routine, this is not for you. If you thrive in an ever-changing environment and want a role where your creativity genuinely shapes a brand, keep reading.
The Role
We are looking for a full-time Videographer and Video Editor to join our team based in Birmingham. You will be responsible for filming, producing and editing content across all of our platforms, from YouTube videos to short-form social media reels. You will work directly alongside the founder, capturing real, on-the-ground content from property sites, events, education sessions, and day-to-day business life. The content you produce will be central to how our brand grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Film and produce high-quality video content on location and in the field
- Edit long-form YouTube videos from start to finish
- Create engaging short-form reels and content for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
- Operate a drone to capture aerial footage where required
- Bring fresh, creative ideas to every shoot and every edit
- Manage your own workflow and deliver content to agreed deadlines
- Stay ahead of trends across social media platforms and adapt content accordingly
What You Must Have
- Your own professional camera equipment
- Your own editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or equivalent)
- A drone and the relevant certification to operate it
- A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle
- Based in Birmingham or the wider Midlands area
- Experience in videography and video editing
What We Are Looking For
Skills and equipment matter, but attitude matters more. We need someone who is genuinely ambitious. Someone who does not wait to be told what to do, someone who walks onto a shoot with ideas already forming. You will be a self-starter who takes ownership, thinks creatively, and consistently pushes the quality of their work higher. You will be comfortable in a fast-moving environment where no two days look the same.
What You Will Get
- A full-time role with immediate start available
- The opportunity to work on a high-profile, nationally recognised brand
- A creative environment where your ideas are heard and acted on
- Real career progression as the brand continues to grow
