We are seeking an Imaging Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Hamilton Specialist Referrals and play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and high‑quality imaging studies.
Responsibilities
- Capturing high‑quality diagnostic image studies across CT, MRI, radiography and fluoroscopy
- Assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including contrast studies and interventional imaging services
- Preparing and supporting patients before, during and after imaging procedures
- Assisting with the day‑to‑day running of the imaging service
- Maintaining imaging suites and equipment to the highest professional and safety standards
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary referral team
- Preparing, monitoring and recovering patients undergoing sedation and general anaesthesia for procedures
Qualifications
- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with a strong interest in diagnostic imaging
- Experience in image acquisition and in a referral practice is an advantage but full training will be provided
- Able to demonstrate a high level of clinical knowledge and practical competence
- Strong commitment to clinical excellence, professionalism and ethical practice
- A clear focus on animal welfare and delivering the highest standard of patient care
- Positive, confident and team‑oriented, with excellent communication skills

Working Pattern
