We are exclusively mandated by a longstanding private capital client who are seeking a Legal Counsel to join their high-calibre legal team. This is a broad, business-facing role offering exposure across corporate, investment management and general commercial matters. Working closely with senior lawyers and other stakeholders, you will advise across the group and its portfolio of investment platforms, taking ownership of legal issues and helping drive practical solutions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Advising on corporate, investment management and general legal matters.
  • Supporting transactions and strategic initiatives across the group.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to provide pragmatic, commercial advice.
  • Developing into a trusted generalist adviser with strong institutional knowledge.

About you:

  • Qualified lawyer from a leading law firm or relevant in-house team with approximately 2 – 3 years’ PQE (as a guideline).
  • Experience in corporate/M&A, funds, investment management or a related transactional area.
  • Commercial, proactive and keen to take ownership.
  • Interested in building a long-term career within a sophisticated investment environment.
