An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Shift Engineer to join a well-established building services provider on a prestigious, high-profile commercial contract in the heart of London. The role is based within a recently modernised, high-end nine-storey commercial building, offering a professional and client-focused working environment. You will be part of a highly experienced on-site maintenance team, working a continental shift pattern (days and nights). This role suits an ambitious engineer with a strong electrical background and proven experience in commercial building services maintenance.
Working closely with a well-known client, you will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems, including regular servicing of AHUs and FCUs.
Key Responsibilities- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
- Electrical fault finding
- Single and three-phase power
- Emergency lighting systems
- Fire alarm systems
- Building Management Systems (BMS) operation
- HVAC systems maintenance
- AHUs, FCUs, VAVs and VRFs
- Generators and UPS systems
- Pumps, motors and associated plant
- Water treatment (tap tests, dosing, cooling tower checks, etc.)
