We are excited to be recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our client's dynamic team on a prestigious site in West London! This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading building services provider, gain valuable experience, and progress your career within a supportive environment. Travel expenses will be fully covered.
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving issues on mechanical systems, supporting electrical operations, ensuring full statutory compliance, and delivering high-quality building maintenance services. This is a static position, working Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and Reactive Maintenance Service and maintain AHUs, FCUs, pumps (bearings, seals), and heat exchangers.
- Conduct water treatment tasks (tap tests, dosing, cooling tower checks, etc.).
- Work on chilled water systems, heat interface units, and cooling towers.
- Monitor tap temperatures, pressurisation units, and generators.
- Operate and monitor BMS systems.
- Perform general plumbing duties.
- Liaise with and manage subcontractors, including issuing RAMS and escorting as required.
