Lead and manage all engineering operations across the critical banking site. Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, health & safety legislation, and company procedures.
Manage and support a team of 8 shift engineers and 1 day engineer, including performance management, development, and training.
Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and emergency response activities. Maintain uptime and resilience of critical electrical infrastructure including UPS systems, generators, switchgear, LV/HV systems, and associated critical plant.
Act as the primary technical escalation point for all electrical and critical systems issues. Develop strong working relationships with the client and attend regular operational and performance meetings.
Manage subcontractors and specialist service providers to ensure compliance and performance standards are achieved. Review and manage permits to work, RAMS, and isolation procedures.
Ensure accurate completion of maintenance records, reports, and compliance documentation through CAFM systems. Support budgeting, forecasting, and management of engineering expenditure.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and energy efficiency opportunities across the contract. Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
