Brand new role for a Mobile Engineer to join a well renowned building service provider, covering a portfolio of commercial sites in London!
This is a great role if you're looking to manage your own sites, clients and take charge of your workload.
As a Mobile Engineer you'll carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on M&E plant systems, fault find, troubleshoot, liaise with contractors, update site logbooks and respond to client requests.
This is a mobile role, covering commercial sites across the M25.
Mobile Engineer Duties
- Carry out PPM and reactive mechanical maintenance.
- Work on motors, generators (on/off load testing), shutdowns, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, sprinkler systems, pumps, belts, bearings, seals, and water treatment systems.
- Operate and have an understanding of BMS systems.
- Safely isolate plant and equipment in line with site and statutory safety procedures.
- Ensure all corrective and repair works comply with current regulations and standards.
- Promote safe working practices and high-quality workmanship.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors where required.
- Complete logbooks, RAMS, reports, and permits to work.
- Raise and close jobs using PDA systems.
Mobile Engineer Requirements
- Fully qualified in Mechanical Engineering (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent) or electrical installations / engineering
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience within commercial building maintenance.
- Strong communication skills with a professional, client-facing approach.
- Apprentice-trained background (desirable).
- Full UK driving licence.
