An exciting role based in Shepherds Bush looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to work on a prestigious contract for a leading FM company. You will supervise a team of five engineers while also carrying out hands-on maintenance. The role includes mechanical and electrical planned and reactive maintenance, remedial work, and emergency response on site. Clear communication and a professional approach are important.

For this role, the client will consider either electrically or mechanically qualified supervisors (City & Guilds or NVQ) with a solid, multi-skilled background in building services maintenance.

Duties:

  • PPMs & Reactive maintenance
  • Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
  • Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
  • Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
  • Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
  • Organising subcontractors
  • Completing logbooks and RAMS Reports
  • Conducting client meetings
  • Ensuring the account manager is kept up to date on a regular basis
  • Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
  • Permits to work
  • Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical Installations or mechanical engineering
  • Ability to lead a days engineering maintenance team
  • Building Services Maintenance experience
  • Career driven and motivated
  • Polite and personable

Salary and Benefits:

  • £60,000 - £65,000 per annum
  • Monday to Friday, 8-5
