We’re recruiting for an experienced Electrically Biased Day Shift Engineer to join a leading building services provider on a flagship commercial site in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company known for investing in its engineers through training, development, and clear progression routes.

Working on a high-profile commercial property, you’ll be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of electrical and building services systems. This is a client-facing role, so professionalism and communication are key.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical systems
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
  • Respond to on-site breakdowns and emergencies
  • Support general building services maintenance where required
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
  • Monitor plant performance and maintain accurate records
  • Work closely with site teams and management to maintain service levels
Requirements:
  • Electrically qualified (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent)
  • Experience in commercial building services maintenance
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and basic HVAC knowledge
  • Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a client-facing environment
  • Reliable and proactive approach
