We’re recruiting for an experienced Electrically Biased Day Shift Engineer to join a leading building services provider on a flagship commercial site in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company known for investing in its engineers through training, development, and clear progression routes.
Working on a high-profile commercial property, you’ll be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of electrical and building services systems. This is a client-facing role, so professionalism and communication are key.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical systems
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
- Respond to on-site breakdowns and emergencies
- Support general building services maintenance where required
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
- Monitor plant performance and maintain accurate records
- Work closely with site teams and management to maintain service levels
- Electrically qualified (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent)
- Experience in commercial building services maintenance
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and basic HVAC knowledge
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a client-facing environment
- Reliable and proactive approach
- Up to £53,000 salary
