Your role involves carrying out a broad variety of duties essential to delivering first-class plumbing services across residential and commercial premises. You will be expected to work both autonomously and alongside colleagues to complete installations, servicing, and repair work accurately and efficiently.
Commercial Plumbing & Heating Engineer Duties:
- Perform high-standard plumbing installations, maintenance, and repair work within domestic and commercial properties, either independently or as part of a team.
- Diagnose faults and carry out corrective repairs on plumbing and mechanical systems, including associated equipment and appliances.
- Undertake minor tasks across other trades where necessary to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Complete first and second fix plumbing work to a professional standard.
- Carry out system testing and commissioning to ensure full operational performance.
- Maintain an ongoing approach to risk assessment relevant to your duties and working environment.
- Accurately document labour, materials, and job details using both digital platforms and manual paperwork systems.
- Participate in the emergency call-out rota as required.
Commercial Plumbing & Heating Engineer Requirements:
- Minimum of City & Guilds Plumbing & Heating Level 2.
- Commercial experience is a must.
- A strong proven engineering background within the combustion / boiler industry maintenance.
- Field based service engineer experience.
- Working to health and safety requirements.
- Previous experience with a range of boiler and burner manufacturers.
- Knowledge of steam, hot water and thermal oil boiler plant and digital combustion control.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Salary and Benefits:
- £50,000 - £55,000 basic salary depending on experience.
