We've got a brand new role for a Building Maintenance Engineer to join a highly renowned client based in the City of London. This is a great opportunity to work on a brand new contract, overseeing a portfolio of commercial sites, building relations with clients and expanding your M&E knowledge.

As a Building Maintenance Engineer, you will carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on M&E systems, troubleshoot/fault find, diagnose faults, update site logbooks, carry out compliance tasks, and liaise with contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems within a commercial building
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and compliance checks
  • Perform emergency lighting tests and remedial works
  • Maintain and service motors, pumps, AHUs, FCUs, and three-phase power systems
  • Ensure all site logbooks and maintenance records are kept up to date
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
  • Work closely with the on-site maintenance team and subcontractors to ensure smooth operation of the building
Requirements
  • Fully qualified in Electrical Installations or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience within commercial building maintenance
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working within high-end commercial environments is advantageous
