Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking to join a prestigious commercial site with excellent facilities, ongoing training and genuine career progression?

We are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a highly skilled engineering team on a flagship corporate estate in the Knutsford area.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a modern, well-maintained site spanning over 60 acres, offering a varied workload, first-class facilities and a supportive team environment.

The Role

As an Electrical Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance across a prestigious commercial estate, ensuring all electrical systems remain safe, compliant and fully operational.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and plant.
  • Responding to reactive maintenance and fault-finding on electrical services.
  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults efficiently.
  • Completing statutory inspections and compliance checks.
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Assisting with minor installation works and electrical improvements.
  • Conducting technical surveys and reporting findings.
  • Liaising with the client and providing excellent customer service.
  • Working safely in accordance with current health and safety legislation.
  • Acting as LV Authorised Person where applicable (training can be provided).

About You

To be considered, you should have

  • NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Previous experience carrying out electrical maintenance within commercial buildings.
  • Strong fault-finding and reactive maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of planned preventative maintenance.
  • IPAF and PASMA (desirable).
  • Experience in large commercial or corporate environments would be advantageous.
  • LV/HV Authorised Person experience is desirable but not essential, as full training can be provided.
