Looking to kick-start a long-term career in building services? This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a privately owned building services provider, completing planned and reactive maintenance. This is an exciting new opportunity for a dedicated Apprentice to join an established provider of Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC Maintenance services who understand that early careers are vital to both their business and the industry.

The Maintenance Provider is currently looking for an ambitious and driven Apprentice to work alongside a Multi-Skilled Engineer, whilst also attending college on day release to gain their full qualifications. Undertaking a mechanically biased qualification, the Apprentice will learn on the job and be given every opportunity to build a strong foundation and develop a successful career within the maintenance industry.

The family-run company delivers Electrical, Mechanical, Heating & Ventilation services to a variety of sites, including commercial offices, retail premises and schools. The role will require a driving licence, with the successful candidate assisting with planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of properties throughout Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas.

Duties:

  • PPM (Planned preventative maintenance) & Reactive maintenance
  • General Building Services / Fabric tasks
  • Electrical Fault-Finding
  • Single & Three Phase Power
  • HVAC (Heating, Ventilation Air Conditioning) maintenance and repairs
  • Compliance PPM’s
  • Emergency Lighting
  • Fire Alarms
  • Tap Temperatures
  • Flushing
  • Water treatment
  • Filters
  • Belts
  • General building services, fabric maintenance

Requirements:

  • Driving License
  • A desire to be qualified in Mechanical Engineering
  • Ambitious and career-driven
  • Polite and personable

Package:

  • Qualifications paid for (day release college)
  • Travel covered

  • Monday to Friday 8-5
