This is a great opportunity for a Data Centre Day Engineer in Watford! This is a unique role if you're looking to gain experience within a critical environment, gain HV training and work outside of London!
As a Data Centre Day Engineer, you will be tasked with PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, ensure full efficiency of critical plant, involved within site shutdowns and blackouts, liaise with subcontractors and update site logbooks.
Data Centre Day Engineer Duties:- PPMs & Reactive maintenance
- Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
- Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
- Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
- Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
- Organising subcontractors
- Completing logbooks and RAMS Reports
- Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
- Permits to work
- Raise and close jobs on PDAs as necessary.
- City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical Installations
- Experience within a critical environment - Beneficial
- Good knowledge of critical plant
- Building Services Maintenance experience
