A fantastic opportunity for a Static Air Conditioning Engineer to work for a leading FM service provider in Derby. Working for a highly esteemed maintenance provider, on a renowned contract, the A/C Engineer will be part of a maintenance team of 7 Engineers carrying out all the planned and reactive maintenance of Air Conditioning Systems on a large commercial site comprising of roughly 17 buildings.
The Air Conditioning Engineer should have 3+ years minimum industry experience, carrying out service and repair of air conditioning systems within commercial premises. The Engineer must also hold their F-Gas Cat 1 and an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, in air conditioning and refrigeration.
Duties:
- To deliver planned, preventative and reactive maintenance in line with the contract service delivery plan for Commercial HVAC equipment
- Carry out A/C works including minor projects & refurbishment
- Fault Find, investigate, troubleshoot and rectify defects in all A/C units & systems and any associated plant / components
- Single / Multi splits, VAVs, VRVs, VRFs, AHU, FCU’s
- Replacing compressors, condensers, regassing, brazing, soldering etc
- Dealing with subcontractors where necessary
- Ensure all statutory documentation is completed and kept up to date at all times
Requirements:
- Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
- 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas)
- 3+ years' experience carrying out service and repair of various types of AC units, within commercial sites.
Package:
- £45,000 - £48,000 per annum
- 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
- Overtime
