Shift Engineer Heathrow, West London £43,000 – £45,000 This is a great role for an experienced Maintenance Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical Bias) to join our client one of their commercial sites located in Heathrow, West London. This is a rewarding role for any Maintenance Engineer looking to up skill their abilities, gain valuable experience and work for a highly reputable building service provider. This is a static role, you will undergo Landlord maintenance on a 4 on /4 off shift pattern, night shift only, no days. You will undergo PPM and Reactive maintenance on Electrical and Mechanical systems on site, react to emergencies, liaise with subcontractors and ensure all statutory compliance is adhered to. To be successful for this role, you will need to be fully qualified either in Electrical Installations or Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent), at least 3 years experience in commercial maintenance and possess a client friendly attitude. Main duties To identify, diagnose, and rectify faults, performing repairs, adjustments, and maintenance tasks as necessary. M&E Planned and Reactive maintenance – EML and Fire Alarm tests, AHU, FCU, minor Plumbing and Fabric maintenance, lighting & lamping repairs etc. Execute routine servicing, repair, and adjustment of machinery or equipment according to scheduled maintenance plans designated by the Engineering Supervisor/ BSM’s. Employ a flexible approach to encompass additional skills or trades, prioritising cost-effective completion of all assigned tasks. Ensure optimal plant and equipment efficiency by meticulously adhering to prescribed requirements and instructions for each task. Fulfill any reasonable duties as assigned by the Building Services Manager or Engineering Supervisor. Requirements Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Installation qualified Level 2 or 3 (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent).
