This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building services provider on a commercial office contract in Stratford. You’ll be part of a small team of three engineers, maintaining landlord areas across a modern multi-storey commercial office. The company is well-known for supporting career progression, offering training, development, and long-term opportunities.
As the on-site Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will undertake planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring all building systems operate efficiently and safely. This is a day-based role, perfect for someone confident in a client-facing environment.
Duties- PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) & Reactive works
- AHUs & FCUs
- Pumps – bearings, seals & general maintenance
- Sprinkler systems
- Basic water treatment tasks (tap tests, dosing, cooling tower checks, etc.)
- Tap temperatures & plumbing duties
- Chilled water systems
- Generators
- Pressurisation units
- BMS operation
- Mechanically qualified to City & Guilds Level 2/3 or NVQ (or equivalent)
- Apprentice trained – desirable
- Experience in commercial building services maintenance
- Strong communication skills and confident in client-facing environments
- £45,000 - £48,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm
- 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
