We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join a flagship commercial site in Waterloo. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to further develop their career within a prestigious and high-profile environment. You will receive additional training, work alongside a highly experienced M&E team, and be part of a well-established site operation.
This Mechanical Engineer role is a static position, following a fixed Monday - Friday schedule (8am - 5pm). As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out all PPM and reactive maintenance across commercial mechanical systems, fault finding and diagnosing issues, updating site logbooks, responding to client requirements, and reporting directly into the Engineering Manager.
Mechanical Engineer Duties:- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
- Air Handling Units (AHUs)
- Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
- Pumps (bearings and mechanical seals)
- Sprinkler systems
- Water treatment (tap tests, dosing, cooling tower checks, etc.)
- Monitoring tap temperatures
- Chilled water systems
- General plumbing duties
- Generators
- Pressurisation units
- Basic BMS operation
- Qualified in a Mechanical related subject (Level 2 minimum, C&G / EAL / NVQ or higher)
- At least 3 years experience within commercial maintenance
- Good commercial M&E plant experience and knowledge
- Client facing experience
- Apprentice trained desirable
- £53,000 - £56,000 per annum
- Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
