Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Teddington £43,000 – £45,000   An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building services provider on a long-standing, high-security research and innovation site in Teddington. The site is a nationally significant facility known for its scientific excellence, and the company is seeking a reliable engineer to join their established and supportive team.   You’ll be working Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and joining a 1-in-5 call-out rota. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work on a technically interesting contract while enjoying work-life balance and long-term development.   The Role: You will be part of a dedicated on-site team carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a technically complex site, ensuring all mechanical systems remain operational and compliant.   Key Duties: Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) & Reactive Maintenance AHUs & FCUs Pumps – Bearings, Mechanical Seals Chilled Water Systems Pressurisation Units Commercial Water Systems – Tap temperatures, dosing, legionella checks Plumbing BMS operation Emergency call-outs (part of rota) Requirements: City & Guilds Level 2/NVQ in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) Apprentice-trained – desirable Previous experience in commercial building maintenance Comfortable working on a secure and compliance-driven site Strong communication and client-facing skills Package: £43,000 – £45,000 per annum Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm 1-in-5 call-out rota 25 days holiday + bank holidays Pension scheme Overtime opportunities Ongoing training and progression If you’re a reliable Mechanical Engineer looking for a stable, technically stimulating role with a respected building services provider, apply now!   Advert Posted by Ben Butt
