We have a great opportunity for a Maintenance Operative in South West London! This is a great chance if you are looking to avoid commuting to Central London. You will be joining a well-renowned building service provider offering valuable career progression, ongoing training, and job satisfaction.
As a Maintenance Operative, you will carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, general fabric/carpentry duties, liaise with subcontractors, update site logbooks, and ensure the client is satisfied with the service provided.
Maintenance Operative Duties:- Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance tasks across multiple sites
- Perform plumbing and water system maintenance (taps, valves, toilets, leaks, pipework, water treatment, tap temperatures)
- Maintain legionella control and awareness
- Service and repair AHUs and FCUs
- Conduct plant room inspections and general building checks
- Test and maintain emergency lighting and fire alarms
- Undertake fabric and general maintenance works as required
- At least 3 years experience within commercial building maintenance
- Client facing attitude
- Proactive and positive work ethic
- No formal qualifications required but would be desirable
- £35,000 per annum
- Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm / 10am - 7pm
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
- Parking on site
