We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a highly regarded, privately owned building services company on a prestigious site in the City of London. Known for their strong reputation in the industry and commitment to staff development. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and grow your career within a thriving business. You will be working as part of a team of 4 engineers on-site, responsible for both landlord and tenant areas, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance
- Electrical fault-finding, repairs, and installations
- Working with single and three-phase power
- Maintenance of emergency lighting and fire alarm systems
- Operating and monitoring BMS systems
- Servicing and maintenance of AHUs, FCUs, VAV/VRFs, and generators
- Pumps, motors, cooling towers, and water treatment (tap tests, dosing, tower checks)
- Managing site documentation including site folders, electronic logbooks, and compliance records
- Supervising contractors and assisting with quotations and audits
Requirements:
- City & Guilds or NVQ in Electrical Installations (or equivalent)
- Apprenticeship trained (desirable)
- Proven experience in building services maintenance
- Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and HVAC systems
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
